Why Your Sunscreen Leaves a White Cast
Sunscreen can leave a white cast because of mineral filters like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, a thick formula, a tint that does not match your skin tone, dry or flaky skin, rushed application, or too many skincare layers underneath. To reduce white cast, try tinted sunscreen, sheer mineral formulas, hybrid or chemical sunscreens if tolerated, better skin prep, and thin even layers without using less sunscreen.
